Alexandra Voukitchevitch is a licensed clinician with a Master of Science in social work from Columbia University. She graduated with a concentration in Advanced Clinical Practice with a focus on health, mental health and disabilities. Alexandra received her Bachelor of Science degree in the Jesuit tradition from Georgetown University. She has been providing individual therapy to diverse populations ages 2 to 21, adults and seniors, as well as couples, families and collateral therapies. Her clinical experience includes working at community-based non-profit organizations, and in private practice, specializing in trauma, forensics, addiction, couples and

somatic therapies, working with military, law enforcement, and their families. Alexandra is also an affiliate clinician at The Sexual Addiction Treatment & Training Institute (The SATTI Group).


Alexandra holds certificates in: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (T-F CBT Web2.0), Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Veteran Cultural Competency from The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Sponsor Initiative Training Certification, Motivational Interviewing from Columbia University, Waldorf World Language teacher education, and Advanced Jivamukti Yoga and meditation.


Alexandra is a BIPOC scholarship recipient, in the process of completing her Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) certificate, a three-year Somatic Experiencing (SE) Professional Training. She utilizes these modalities among other trainings in her therapeutic work.


As a biracial person of color, fluent in Spanish and French, spiritually minded, and culturally sensitive, Alexandra offers a holistic approach. By combining behavioral science and healing arts she tailors individual treatments to her clients’ needs, goals and beliefs. Her 24+ years of professional experience paved the foundation for her client-centered and collaborative approach. A mother of three children, Alexandra strives to empower clients to make the changes they want to accomplish in their personal, professional and community relationships and aspirations. Having completed an Olympic distance triathlon, a marathon, and a century ride for charity, she guides her clients to navigate the journey toward healing and recovery while enjoying their chosen path to their goals. By infusing awareness through mindfulness and creating a safe space in her practice, Alexandra has witnessed her clients make better choices to reveal the desired version of themselves and optimal outcomes in their lives.
