Come Celebrate your summer with the joy of play and connection. Play specialist Howard Moody believes deeply in the importance of active and vigorous play while still being sure to include everyone and their feelings. Mindfulness educator Rachel Brown expertly leads children and adults in paying attention to their experience and taking the time to reflect on why play, connection and awareness are important to our play and daily experience. In this one time afternoon workshop, we will play New Games, Active Games, and Active fun theater games, sprinkling in reflection, sharing and delicious moments of mindfulness. Playing mindfully deepens our appreciation of our bodies and minds as well as our connection to others.
This class is offered for 7-10 year-olds. Parents are welcome to join in the fun!
Rachel and Howard have been assisting mindfulness educator Daniel Rechtshcaffen in his mindfulness teacher training at Omega Institute for the past 5 years.
