She believes that clients are the experts of their own lived experiences and is always honored to have the opportunity to join along with them on their journeys to healing and wellness.

Erika is a strengths-based, person first, and trauma informed therapist who supports clients in navigating various concerns including but not limited to difficult life transitions, everyday stressors, depression, anxiety, and grief. Her approach is holistic and rooted in the belief that healing is not just an individual process but also a collective one that spans across generations, and she is committed to facilitating healing on both personal and ancestral levels.

With warmth, empathy, and humor Erika creates a safe and nurturing space for her clients to explore their innermost thoughts, emotions, and experiences. She integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, and somatic experiencing, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual she works with. She also incorporates non-western techniques that emphasize connection to land and body, as well as intergenerational wisdom and experience.

Erika obtained her bachelor’s of psychology at Manhattanville College and her master’s degree with specialization in mental health from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. She holds a certification in Indigenous Tools for Living, an integrative and experiential therapeutic model which supports those navigating through complex traumas.
