Rachel sees her work as a psychotherapist as an opportunity to bring more ease, joy, and justice into the world. She is passionate about supporting teens and adults of all ages as they uncover their innate capacity to be their authentic selves and engage in healthy relationships with others and our planet. Rachel is deeply committed to anti-oppressive practice as well as advocacy and allyship in movements for social justice. She is particularly drawn to working with teens and young adults who are navigating identity development around race, gender, sexuality, and neurodivergence.

Rachel joins WE after two decades of working in education – as a special and general education teacher, and as a staff developer integrating mindfulness and social and emotional learning into school communities. She received her MSW from the University at Albany and is currently enrolled in the Somatic Experiencing professional training program. She also holds a Master of Science in Education from Bank Street College of Education.
