David is a Licensed Master of Social Work who views the healing process holistically and believes in the client having the maximum agency in their therapeutic journey. David's approach is centered upon understanding the many factors that play into one's world, and believes striking a balance between the permanent, semi-permanent, and impermanent aspects of life is essential to growth and recovery.
David has a BA in History from SUNY New Paltz and understands the power of the past in informing the present, and the trajectory of the future. David received his Master's Degree in Social Work from Fordham University and is EMDR-Trained, specializing in working with neurodivergent clients on a range of challenges. David comes from a professional background in Foster Care and neuro-affirming Child/Family therapy, while taking knowledge of his own neurodivergence to relate to clients in a way that fosters greater understanding and a trusting therapeutic relationship.
An avid craftsperson, cook, outdoor enthusiast, and martial artist, David brings an eclectic range of knowledge into his clinical practice.
